My first time visiting a winery and it was an amazing experience. We paid $55 to ride the gondola up the winery and get 5 wine tastings throughout the vineyard. The tour is self guided but there are videos and people there to help answer any questions you have. It was a pretty relaxed environment. There are other packages to choose from ranging from $55 up to $125 pp. If you are with someone who doesn’t drink wine, they only charge $25 for them to enter and experience everything else but the tasting.

I took my Wife here as part of our Wine Country Tour for her birthday. She absolutely loved it. The Sky gondola gave us some beautiful views . The Pinot Gris was our favorite. It’s a self guided tour so you go at your own pace. Once we reached the Terrance we were attended to by Anna who mentioned she’s new but was pretty knowledgeable and went and got answers whenever she wasn’t 100% positive. We got to leave with some favors from the Sterling which we absolutely loved. This was our favorite Winery from our entire trip. Thank you for the experience

Lovely place for a wine tasting experience! It is on the expensive side at $55 per person for a walk around self tour and 5 tasting wines, you do get to keep the wine glass though and the staff also make the experience worthwhile! You park the car and then catch the cablecar to the winery, very impressive, once you reach the top, the views of Napa Valley are stunning. Wine was very nice and afterwards we looked in the gift shop and purchased a bottle of muscat and a view other gifts to bring home.

Sterling Vineyards in Napa offers a mixed experience. The highlight is undoubtedly the unique gondola ride that takes you to the hilltop winery, where you're greeted with panoramic views of the valley. The architecture, inspired by the Greek island of Mykonos, adds to the charm, making it a visually appealing destination. However, while the setting is impressive, the wines didn't quite meet expectations. Despite the variety of tasting options, the flavors were somewhat disappointing. Nonetheless, the overall visit was pleasant, especially if you're there for the ambiance rather than the wine itsef
