Great spot to relax. Comfortable couches inside and relaxing patio furniture outside. Syrahs were excellent. Extensive charcuterie options. Enjoyed the tinned razor clams and the journey man salami. Baguette was heated on order.

I came here on a recommendation from a wine enthusiast friend. They have an excellent selection of red wines--but I really want to highlight the incredible service my friends and I received. The staff were engaging, very informative, and very kind, even having recommendations in the area! Overall an awesome experience.

Went with a group of 3. Cool vibe and location. Dan poured for us and felt he knew the wines and had a broad background. One of the Gamays stole the show for us and all the Syrahs were very well made.

What a sad experience! I was seated outside of Pax on a Monday morning attempting to reschedule canceled flights from the recent internet upgrade debacle. Pax had not yet opened, and I didn’t realize that the picnic style tables in the alleyway even belonged to a specific business, let alone Pax. When a man began to set out couches and tables just in front of me, I just continued to work on my rebooking, etc. Then the man slammed a plant and sign on the table I was at and immediately said, “Yeah, we’re open now, you need to go lady.” His tone was rude, and aggressive. I shared that he didn’t need to treat me or anyone with such contempt and he became more belligerent, saying things like, “You are sitting on property of a business that you aren’t even patronizing.” Sadly for that man and for Pax, and really for all of us, a little humanity goes a long way, likewise inhumane treatment is also something that echoes beyond its immediate impact.
