Poplar Grove Winery is a family-owned and operated winery located in the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia, Canada. The winery was founded in 1993 by Tony Holler and his wife, Linda, and it has become one of the most respected and award-winning wineries in the region.
The Poplar Grove vineyards are situated on a south-facing slope in the Naramata Bench, one of the premier wine-growing regions in the Okanagan Valley. The winery’s vineyards are planted with a variety of grape varieties, including Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Syrah.
Poplar Grove is known for producing high-quality, handcrafted wines that reflect the unique terroir of the Okanagan Valley. The winery has gained a reputation for its elegant and balanced Chardonnays and Pinot Gris, as well as its full-bodied and structured red wines.
One of Poplar Grove’s most famous wines is its “The Legacy” red blend, which is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet franc, and Merlot. This wine has received numerous awards and accolades, including a gold medal at the International Wine & Spirit Competition.
In addition to its vineyards and winemaking, Poplar Grove is also known for its beautiful and picturesque setting. The winery has a tasting room and patio that offer stunning views of the Okanagan Valley, and it is a popular destination for tourists and wine lovers.
The winemaking at Poplar Grove is guided by the principles of sustainability and minimal intervention. The winery uses traditional winemaking techniques, such as hand-picking and sorting of the grapes, and fermenting the wines in small batches to preserve their unique character and flavors.
Poplar Grove is committed to producing high-quality wines that are expressive of the terroir of the Okanagan Valley, and it has established itself as a leader in the Canadian wine industry. Whether you are a wine connoisseur or simply enjoy a glass of wine with a meal, Poplar Grove has a wine for everyone.

a month agoA wonderful wheelchair accessible winery with stunning views. The space is open and bright, with a high-end feel. We had a couple of plates to share which were super flavourful (scallops and farm greens). We had been recommended the honey milk buns but sadly they are only a dinner time feature. The wine was great and it was the perfect spot for a slow lunch. Highly recommend.

3 months agoThe restaurant hit it out of the park last night for my companion and me. First, the location and setup and sheer elegance of the space (both inside and out) are hard to beat. The servers were down to earth, knowledgeable, attentive. And the food…we ate and enjoyed every single bite (I had the beef carpaccio and the oyster mushroom pasta). Unlike at many fine dining establishments, the portions are considerable, which is especially nice when the food is of such high quality (including very local), inventive and just plain delicious that you just don’t want to get to the last bite in any hurry. Poplar Grove is hands down my favourite restaurant in this area and will from now on be my go-to for all special occasions and when a dining treat is needed!

3 months agoSuch an amazing experience. Aaron helped us with mine and my girlfriends tasting. Came from Vancouver as I am a server and wanted to learn about the wine! Learned so much about the poplar grove wines! The views from both the outside and the window was absolutely stunning. Amazing location for food as well we didn’t eat there but excellent menu and wonderful views and service! I learned so much from Aaron and I’ve never signed up for bottles of wine to my door but when I do (which will be soon) my first order will be poplar grove ! Thank you for making my first time memorable Aaron! Such immense service and help with everything

4 months agoWe reserved a table to celebrate our birthdays at Poplar Grove Winery. Absolutely enjoyed our dinner and beautiful view. We were greeted with a glass of wine to celebrate our birthdays. For dinner we ordered Confit Halibut, Holler Honey Buns, Ricotta Stozzapetti, Grass-fed Striploin and Wild BC Salmon. Each dish was flavorful and delicious. We paired it up with a bottle of Three Roses Rose and a cocktail Naramata 75. Fantastic experience! Staff was friendly and accommodating. The restaurant and grounds was clean and well maintained. Perfect evening to celebrate with friends!

3 months agoI had a wonderful experience visiting this winery and participating in their wine tasting, which is quite affordable at just $10.00 per person. The fantastic representative, who teaches during the winter months, was incredibly helpful and patient in explaining all the details. Nice experience.
