2 weeks agoAbsolutely loved my visit to Trius Winery! I did a tasting and spent a relaxing afternoon reading my book on their beautiful covered patio. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and other visitors were so sweet to my pup—he felt right at home! The wines were fantastic, and the whole experience makes this one of my favorite winery visits in New York State. We’ll definitely have to come back for the restaurant, which was Michelin-recognized in 2024. This spot is great for a group outing or solo travelers, very clean, and there’s plenty to explore around the state.

a month agoAn amazing experience. We did the three course meal and ate outside which was quite the experience. The meals were definitely unique and it felt like very fine dining. The servers describe everything amazingly and definitely keep your meal moving forward. The mains were our favorite parts and the dessert was unreal. Thanks for the great Michelin star experience.

a week agoWe went to Trius for dinner to celebrate our anniversary. We had a great experience - the food was absolutely fantastic - pictured is the duck liver parfait, beef striploin, peach pavlova and blueberry cheesecake bar. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a special evening. Would definitely recommend!

a month agoEnjoyed a lovely summer evening outdoor dining with friends at Trius Restaurant. The starters were a highlight—fresh bread, chicken liver pâté, and smoked salmon all received rave reviews from our group. I also tried the strawberry tart, which was visually stunning but fell a bit flat in flavour—more beautiful than delicious. For mains, the pork chop was hearty and satisfying, especially with the rich and decadent mac and cheese on the side. I opted for the halibut, which was light, fresh, and perfectly complemented by summer peas, asparagus, and fingerling potatoes—summer on a plate. I absolutely loved it. The chocolate bar dessert, while impressive in presentation, was overly rich and could have used something to cut through the sweetness. Overall, a lovely evening with gorgeous plating, and some standout dishes.

a month agoThe winery was nice, but when we came in, no one really said anything or pointed us in the right direction, so we just stood there a bit unsure. The tour itself was fine—not bad, just very general. It felt a bit short and didn’t really go into much detail about the wine-making process, etc. which we were hoping for. On the plus side, the wines we tasted were enjoyable, and our guide was friendly and welcoming once the tour started. Overall, it was a decent visit, just not as memorable as we’d hoped.
