Vineland Estates Winery is a family-owned and operated winery located in the Niagara Peninsula of Ontario, Canada. The winery was founded in 1975 by Dr. Ivan G. Rebele, who had a passion for wine and saw the potential for producing world-class wines in the region.

The Niagara Peninsula has a unique microclimate that is well-suited to grape growing, and the region has a long history of winemaking. The region is influenced by the moderating effects of Lake Ontario, which helps to create a long growing season and relatively mild winters. This allows the grapes to fully ripen, which is essential for producing high-quality wines.

Vineland Estates Winery is situated on a 200-acre property, which includes acres of vineyards and a modern winemaking facility. The winery has several different vineyards, each planted with different grape varieties that are well-suited to the region’s climate and soil. Some of the grape varieties grown at Vineland Estates Winery include Riesling, Chardonnay, Cabernet franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Pinot Noir.

The winery is known for producing a wide range of wines, from crisp whites to full-bodied reds. One of the winery’s most famous wines is its Cabernet franc ice wine, which is made from grapes that are left on the vine until they are frozen. This process allows the grapes to concentrate their flavors, resulting in a sweet, luscious wine with complex aromas and flavors. Vineland Estates Winery also produces a range of red wines, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc, as well as white wines such as Riesling and Chardonnay.

In terms of wine making, Vineland Estates Winery uses traditional techniques and state-of-the-art technology to produce high-quality wines. The winemaking team carefully monitors the grape-growing and wine-making process to ensure that each wine is of the highest quality. The grapes are hand-picked at the peak of ripeness, and are carefully sorted to remove any imperfections. They are then gently crushed and fermented, with the winemaking team paying close attention to the temperature and other factors to ensure that the flavors and aromas of the grapes are fully expressed in the finished wine.

After fermentation, the wines are aged in oak barrels to add complexity and depth of flavor. The length of aging varies depending on the wine, with some wines being aged for just a few months, while others are aged for several years. Once the wines are ready, they are bottled and labeled, and are then ready to be enjoyed by wine lovers around the world.

In addition to producing high-quality wines, Vineland Estates Winery is also committed to sustainability and environmental stewardship. The winery has implemented a number of practices to reduce its impact on the environment, including using renewable energy sources, conserving water, and reducing waste.

Vineland Estates Winery is a popular destination for wine lovers, who can visit the winery to learn more about the winemaking process, taste a variety of wines, and enjoy a meal at the winery’s on-site restaurant. The winery also has a team of highly trained wine educators who are available to lead tastings and tours of the winery for visitors.

In conclusion, Vineland Estates Winery is a leading producer of wines in the Niagara Peninsula region of Ontario, Canada. The winery has a rich history, and is known for its high-quality wines and its commitment to traditional

You will be back! In fact, this was our third trip to this wonderful winery for a weekend brunch! FOOD: The food is delectable and seasonal, presenting a 3 course meal with or without wine pairing. We keep coming back for more! This time around for a winter fair, we had a soup, pasta with creamy sauce and a delicious pavlova! The tastes are always very well balanced and pair with wine well! DRINKS: At the winery, there is no other drink as a glass of wine. The Vineland wines are well crafted by their winemaker and are a delight of the region. They pair nicely with food. SERVICE: Everyone was super friendly, especially considering we were with a baby and that meant a longer duration of service. They deserved a generous tip at the end! ATMO: The atmosphere is light country house veranda chic. Very nice on a sunny or gloomy day.

We were at the Vineland Estates Winery for my Birthday, where we went on a wine and food pairing tour and enjoyed dinner at the Winery. Our guide for the wine and food pairing was amazing. She was able to answer all our questions and seems like she loves her job. The restaurent atmosphere was good and welcoming, and the food was amazing and was a great value for the price. You can get a 3 course meal for $70 and you can pay an extra $30 for wine pairing. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be going back.

We went for lunch today on recommendation of a friend, it was truly amazing, great value for money, great service and best food we have had since moving to Canada 3 years back (and we eat out a lot). The pictures speak for themselves, it tasted as good as it looks and was very filling, we will be back!

I’ve been a regular here for about 10 years now. Still great value for money. Especially when it’s hard to find a $65 three course meal these days. Cute winery with a great view. The patio is just the best patio in the summer. Food is always great. Wine pairing is also great but their specialty is riesling. They have a drier version of riesling so if you don’t like sweet wines, try that. They used to have $40 three course meal lunch but $65 is still a great value.

Gorgeous restaurant with huge windows all around the dinning room which overlook the vineyards. They have a spectacular patio also. The food is amazing with so much attention to detail and flavour. Beautifully presented dishes with a great wine selection and very friendly and helpful serving staff. We were there in a Friday night and there were 2 guitar players playing nice mellow music. Overall a fantastic experience.
